Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This policy is a website starter, not legal advice. Before launch, complete the controller legal name, postal address, privacy email, actual processors, hosting locations, retention periods and international transfer safeguards.
1. Controller
The site is operated for DUCOM Africa / Debrich University College of Missions within the Multi Debrich Group Ltd ecosystem. Insert verified controller entity, postal address and privacy contact email before publication.
2. Information collected
Contact form name, email, department and message; a short-lived one-time email verification code and verification status used to confirm control of the email address; conference registration details submitted through Google Forms; and necessary technical logs for security and website delivery. The verification code is stored as a one-way hash in the visitor's server session and expires after ten minutes.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use enquiries to respond to requests, the one-time verification code to reduce fraudulent submissions and confirm control of the supplied email address, registration information to administer events, and technical data to maintain and secure the website. Depending on the situation, processing may rely on consent, steps requested by you, legitimate interests or legal obligations.
4. Sharing and processors
Information may be processed by hosting, email, security and registration providers and relevant DUCOM teams. We do not sell personal information. List the actual providers and Google Forms arrangements before launch.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country. Put required safeguards and transfer mechanisms in place and identify the relevant processing locations.
6. Retention and security
Keep information only as long as needed for the stated purposes, legal obligations, dispute resolution and security. Set actual retention periods for enquiries, conference registrations, server logs and backups. Apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
7. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent and complain to a supervisory authority. Contact the privacy contact published by the controller. Identity verification may be required.
8. Children
Do not submit children's personal information unless any required authorisation has been obtained.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential technologies may support security and core site functions. Optional analytics, advertising and third-party media technologies should remain disabled until valid consent has been obtained where required. This starter stores preferences in local browser storage and does not itself load analytics or advertising trackers.
The EU GDPR, ePrivacy rules and German Telecommunications-Digital-Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG, formerly TTDSG) may require consent before non-essential information is stored on or accessed from a user's device. Review the actual scripts, embeds, cookies and storage mechanisms on the deployed site; this sample banner alone does not guarantee compliance.
10. External services
External radio, media, app-store, social and registration sites have their own privacy practices. Review embedded services before enabling them.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect service or legal changes.
